This needed to be done.

I was playing KH:Chain of Memories as Riku on my bus one day after a lousy day at SKOO, and I was sitting there, reading all the text about how Riku's heart belonged to the Darkness and Ansem was all like, ARGH!, ALL YOUR HEART ARE BELONGS TO ME! and the Mickey came and was all like, no, fool, Riku belongs to the light!

Which got me a thinkin' about how, if Kingdom Hearts was an urban sprawl gone awry, that the two sides of the neighborhood would be the "Light Side", as in belonging to the "light" gang, and the other side would be the "Dark Side", as in belonging to the "dark" gang. And every rough n' tumble neighborhood with gangs and their opposing gang colors need opposing pimps of said gang territory, AND SO MICKEY would be the king pimp of the light side, with all the good allies in the game being the assistant managers of his pimp-dom, and ANSEM would be the king pimp of the Darkside, with the lesser evil bosses in the game being his assistant managers of the Dark side prostitution ring.

*breathes*

I think that about covers that.

Mickey Mouse belongs to Disney. I'd totally apologize to Walt, but he's dead, and I'm not really sorry.

Kingdom Hearts belongs to either/and/or both Square Enix/Soft/Tetsuya Nomura and Disney/Walt
